Import Updates

This weekend we released an update to Jotlet that fixed a few bugs and made some optimizations. Most notably are the fixes we made to the import feature. A number of users were having difficult importing files, but everything should be importing smoothly now.
We’ve tested numerous files on numerous computers in numerous browsers, and all of our tests passed with flying colors. So if you’ve tried import in the past and it didn’t quite work, then it’s time to give it another whirl!

Thanks to everyone who reported this issue!

Vote for Jotlet!

Ismael over at itredux.com has put up a great post rounding up the current web calendars out there. As of my writing this post, Jotlet is tied with Google for the #1 spot!

So head over to itredux.com and cast your vote for Jotlet!

Import is here! and it’s only the beginning…

Advanced WindowWe’ve added button to Jotlet’s header called “advanced”. This new advanced window is where we plan to fill Jotlet with some exciting new features. The first 3 such features are: the fancy new import feature, the export menu, and a page describing our Netvibes integration.

We’re looking forward to filling up this new little window more exciting integration points! RSS is an obvious addition, and it’s coming soon. We’re also looking at facebook integration, as well as a plethora of other ideas. If you’ve got something on your wish list, let us know!

We’ve also been busy making Jotlet even faster. We’re shrinking our files for faster download, and optimizing our code to the most bang for our processor buck. Look for even more speed ups in the near future.
