You may not be aware, but Microsoft Outlook is broken, and Microsoft admits it.
The problem stems from a 2005 law that changed when Daylight Saving Time would start and end in the US this year, and unfortunately Microsoft Outlook doesn’t take this new law into account. So what does this mean? All of your appointments in Outlook will be off by 1 hour for a few weeks this spring, and another week this fall, unless you download and install a cumbersome “patch” program to fix it. This boils down to missed appointments and confusion, and all because of 1 silly bug in your desktop software.
You’ll be happy to hear that Jotlet has had this new DST law pre-programmed in our code for months, and we’re more than ready for the brand new Daylight Saving Time this year. And what’s even better, we regularly update Jotlet with new features and fixes automatically. No cumbersome downloads, no patches, no confusion. Jotlet just works.
Oh, and happy Valentine’s Day! We love you guys ![]()
